Mia — Terms of Use
1. The service
Mia analyses food products and dishes from photos and answers nutrition questions using AI, taking into account the pregnancy, allergy and health details you enter. By using Mia you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. Not medical advice
Mia is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or replace a doctor, dietitian or allergist. Answers are generated by AI, can be incomplete or wrong, and product formulations change. Always read the product label and follow your healthcare provider. You use the information at your own risk; to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for decisions made on it.
3. Plans and subscriptions
- Free: 5 welcome scans, topped back up to 3 scans every day, and one free detailed analysis.
- Premium: unlimited product and dish scans, detailed ingredient analysis, product comparison, medication–food check and family profiles.
- Ultimate: everything in Premium plus the Mia AI chat (up to 1,000 questions a month) and medical document / lab result analysis that Mia uses as context.
Fair use. "Unlimited" means unlimited for personal use. To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, requests are rate-limited (about 20 per minute), and a paid account can make up to 1,000 analyses of each kind (scans, detailed analyses, medication checks) and up to 1,000 chat messages per calendar month. Automated or abusive use is not allowed.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Google Play or the App Store and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation. Manage or cancel at any time in your store account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies. Prices may differ by country and are always shown in the app before purchase.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, messages and documents you provide and allow us to process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not upload other people's medical information without their permission.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Mia unlawfully, attempt to extract its data or prompts automatically, interfere with its security, or present Mia's answers as professional medical advice.
6. Brands
Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products. Mia is independent of any manufacturer.
7. Changes and termination
We may update Mia and these Terms; the effective date above shows the current version. You can stop using Mia and delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
